My hdd is running at 100%?

I have a problem with y lenovo y500 with dual graphics cards.
The problem is that my drives are always running at 100%. My friend had the same problem but I fixed his PC by minimizing page files. I tried the same on my pc, but it didn't work.

What Operating system do you have and also how much RAM do you have in the computer? I have had the same thing on a few machines i have fixed and 2 of them it was that there was not enough RAM in the pc to make it run efficently. The other pc was down to too much running in the background but i would check the RAM first and maybe look at adding more

Not sure what you mean by the Hard drive running at 100%.
Is it possible that you hear the fans that are cooling the computer? If this is the case you may have poor ventilation to dissipate heat, this can be caused by dust or covering the intake of where air is drawn across the internal components.
