I'm trying to make all essential NPCs in Skyrim not essential by using the command on my Lenovo but it doesn't work.

Are you sure you are using the base ID and not the ref ID when you target the NPC?
The ref ID is what is obtained when you click on the NPC in-game. You need to find the base ID and use that instead.
