Hi, I have a Lenovo Vibe X and I think it's outdated. How do I upgrade/update the operating system? Like, Ice Cream Sandwich, Kit Kat… Because I'm not sure how to do it on my device and most forums aren't very helpful.

To perform major updates such as that, you will need to root it. Head on over to google and type "how to root my lenovo vibe x". I'm sure it's been done before.
