I currently own a Dell latitue E6400 and although it's old has given me zero problems. I have a computer friend that would sell me this lenovo. Would this be a good upgrade for a cash strapped individual? He also had a Toshiba Satellite A505, but I had a toshiba laptop in the past and it didn't hold up well. I'm not a tech guy and not looking at other computers.

Well the Lenovo is a lot better then what you have right now and a lot better then the Toshiba… On amazon used / refurbished lenovos are going for around $230 - $280USD… So if your friend cuts you a good price, the Lenovo should do you good…
