My surface got stuck in a boot loop and wouldn t go to advanced startup when I did a factory reset. I made a recovery backup on my Yoga S1, I thought this was the same as using the Windows Media Backup tool (which I've used before). It wasn't until my Surface Pro was recovered and greeted me with a Lenovo screen that I realized what happened.
It seems ok (with the exception of having Windows 8 instead of 10), but are there going to be issues that may arise since it is running a backup from another computer? Will my windows key still be valid? Any other problems?
