I'm using lenovo z580 window 8.1… After upgrading to window 8 to 8.1, my bluetooth not working. Its on ans can b visible but can't able to transfer file. Please help to solve this prob, i tried everything with is shown on you tube regarding that but still not working.

I had a conversation with a friend the other day regarding Bluetooth and I was explain the different versions of Bluetooth and why a earlier version won't work with a later version
also different versions of windows seem to have issues with Bluetooth especially windows 8 and 8.1… But before you dig any deeper you need to check what Bluetooth version the lenovo z580 is using and the Bluetooth version the phone is using… The latest Bluetooth version ( and most widely used ) is version 4.0… However many Bluetooth adapters are still being sold that support v2.0… This is why many guys ( including myself ) have been stumped when trying to transfer files
and this is what will be the death of Bluetooth… Until they make Bluetooth 100% universal people will use usb or other forms of transferring data wirelessly…
have you checked for any windows 8.1 compliant Bluetooth drivers from the manufacturers website… However in the meantime check out this information on the Microsoft website regarding "Changing settings for a Bluetooth-enabled device " ( http://windows.microsoft.com/...=windows-7 )
