I have broken my lenovo g580, I deleted the windows partition. When it boots it says CHECK CABLE CONNECTION! PXE-M0F: EXITING INTEL PXE ROM? I have tried using bootable usbs but the same error comes up. What do i do?
Deleted windows partition off hard drive?

The PXE error is just that all other boot devices have failed, and the system is trying to boot over the Ethernet adapter (which most people do not and can't boot from)
To boot from USB, you have to get into the BIOS boot setup, and set the USB as the primary boot device. In some older laptops, the USB stick should be plugged in when you do the BIOS setup, so it sees it as installed already. Then do a reboot from the BIOS…
If you keep getting the PXE error, that means the USB stick is not bootable.
