I have an old computer http://www.amazon.com/...B00AOUU5D8 and I want to upgrade some parts of it. If i could, i want to keep the case, power supply, ram, and hard drive because 1tb hdd and 8gb ram is pretty good. If i were to buy a processor that fits with my new motherboard, can i replace the processor and motherboard with my new one, and will it fit the case? Also, will i be able to add a graphics card to it?
How to upgrade my computer?
I believe your mother board should support most decent graphics cards so you will just need to upgrade the power supply and cpu ( with a socket 1155 ) but currently socket 1155 are not that common and you might need to shop used or refurbished mother boards on discount sites and ebay ( yes there might be some socket 1155 mother board around but not all will be upgrades to your current one ) !
your mother board most likely will not over clock very well should be a decent and stable base to biuld on… Get an I5-3570 ( if your mother board supports over clocking then it might be better to spend the extra 24 buck for the k version but if it does not or you do not plan to over clock save the 24 buck and get the non k version ) and look for a GTX 750 or GTX 750 Ti or even A GTX 760 Ti and buy the needed power supply to match the card!
And a SSD drive will do wonders to your daily use of said computer if it is in the budget!
