I just got a Floureon Bm-800 Microphone which apparently needs an audio interface. So I'm searched for an audio interface online and found this: (I haven't bought it yet)

but I don't see how I would attach it to my labtop. The Model is Lenovo E540. Can anyone tell me how to set this up, or is there something I'm doing wrong?
Umm thats just a phantom power supply. While it can be used with a xlr to 3.5mm cable that laptop isn't gonna be that easy to find a cable for since its combined headphone/microphone jack and not separate. I would use something like the behringer u-phoria umc202hd, focusrite 2i2, presonus audiobox 22vsl, presonus studio 26. Those all interface over standard usb and will give you better quality and way more control.
