I recently cracked my lcd screen of my Lenovo Ideapad. After replacing it, the backlight doesn't work. Is there anything I can do without replacing anything else?

Dasha is writing about LCD screens that use a CCFL tube for light behind the diffuser. In newer panels, there's no inverter necessary for LED lights.
Take laptop to a repair shop to get it done correctly.

Check the inverter board it is the most common fault, also check if all the connections you replaced are tight and correct.

Sounds like you may have a bad connection. I replaced one on a Lenovo and I had a problem getting the cable connected properly.
