Can I Upgrade my Laptop Graphics Card?

I have a Lenovo ideapad Y500 eith an Intel i7 3630 QM 2.4 GHz and a NVIDIA Geforce GT 650M GPU. I'm pretty sure I can due to the dedicated GPU, but I'm just making sure before I go ahead and do anything about it.

No. Laptop graphics cards are part of the motherboard and can't be removed. There are no slots for additional cards and no space for them if it had slots.

I believe you can upgrade the graphics on this Lenovo laptop. I believe there's a GT750MS graphic card available as an upgrade. Not many laptops beside the Dell Alienware brand can be upgraded, but your Lenovo is likely one of the few. You should be able to find out by contacting Lenovo Customer Service and inquiring to make sure.
