Core i3 (4th Gen), Core i5 (4th Gen) or APU Quad Core A6? Need a new laptop?

Hi, I'm planning to buy a new laptop for my college. I'm pretty much a tech-noob and was wondering if anyone could help me out with choosing the processor that will meet my requirements. My requirements as any college student revolves around fast responsiveness, decent battery life, good quality video running and other features related to the college life such as memory, back up etc.
I have narrowed my search to three laptops under by budget. Following are the links:

I personally prefer the Windows 8.1 lenovo flex as it looks way better than the other two and also supports touch screen. However all three laptops have different processors of which I know too little to make a comprehensive decision. Which one would be the best one for me?

Added (1). If anyone can't open the links, the laptops are as follows:

Lenovo Flex 2-14D Notebook (APU Quad Core A6/ 4GB DDR RAM/ 500GB HDD/8GB SSD/ Win8.1)

DELL INSPIRON 15 3537 LAPTOP (4TH GEN CI3/ 2GB/ 500GB/ WIN8.1/ 1GB GRAPH)

ACER ASPIRE E1-572 LAPTOP (4TH GEN CI5/ 4GB/ 500GB/ LINUX) (NX.M8ESI.002)

If you don't plan to play latest computer games (or plan to develop such games) or do sophisticated video editing, you will not need very powerful system. For college, a laptop with i3 processor is more than enough. If you can afford, i5 will be good. I7 will not bring enough benefits (for your purpose) for the extra money you will spend. 4GB memory will be good. 500 GB HDD will be good. If you can afford, SSD will make the system boot fast (but it is not needed). Apart from Lenovo, Dell and Acer, you can check out Asus. A linux laptop will be cheaper than Windows. Linux is just fine. If you ever feel the need to use Windows, you can always install that later.
