I'm looking at the Lenovo U430p and it can come with 500gb or 1tb plus some SSD. Will the 1tb hard drive be heavier than the 500gb? I'm overly concerned with portability here. I'm weak and will be carrying it all over the place.
Does a larger internal hard drive add weight to a laptop?

If it does it is like a few GRAMS, it isn't much, i think different sizes of hdd's use different sizes disks inside. Also the ssd is amazing for booting up windows fast

Portable and large hard drive don't mix because they can be damaged by the slightest shock. If you need to store large amounts of data, don't leave it on your laptop. The problem with a larger hard drive is that it is probably more delicate and easier to damage because finer tracks and head clearance is required.
