So a few weeks ago I dropped my Lenovo U530 Touch Laptop. I dented a corner, one on the keyboard(Which I fixed) and the other on the top left of the screen. Me, freaking out right away, go and try to bend it back, only cracking the screen. Keep in mind, its the glass in FRONT of the LCD screen. It's like dropping your phone and the screen shatters. It was also touchscreen and it's not working in some areas near the dents. I thought I would leave it for now, since the crack wasn't getting bigger, and I had no money to fix it. So today I was going down the stairs with my laptop in my bag and I tripped. I saved myself, but my bag hit a step on the way down. I opened up my laptop and there wasn't any more cracks, but there was a dent in the top right of the screen.(When I say dent, I mean the back cover.) This caused to push the screen forward in the top right. So now the laptop won't shut all the way, and the glass in the top right can be pushed back and sticks out a little. So the glass is cracked, the back cover is dented, and the touchscreen is broken. No one in town can fix it. So how much is this gonna cost?
How much will it cost to fix my computer?
$200 plus parts
You got the same problem like my friend on his laptop. His laptop's screen is cracked a little, it from a car rolling on it on one of the corner at work. A coworker of his had knocked his bag down or something. He don't have the money to fix it, since he only works part time at a car rental place. From our miscellanies conversation, he said it might cost or feel like a arm and leg on the price to fix it. But he has gone to find out the price.
I would say check with your local mom and pop computer stores that sell, build and fix PCs in all areas. To see can it be fixed and the price to fix. Then if they can't go find out from Best Buy's Greek Squard.
By the way IF your thing is not over yet sent it back to the company see if they can fit, through the store you brought it from.
