It depends on the laptop and the screen model. Generally, the smaller the screen in physical size, the lower in price. I have replaced screens for people before, and there are a couple places you can go online (other than eBay) to find a new screen:

Are the two I've used - I would try the first link to look for your screen, and use the second as a backup. You should also do a search for a video or procedure on how to disassemble and replace the screen BEFORE you order it. Make sure you are totally comfortable replacing it before ponying up the cash!

Roughly you are looking at 50 - 80 dollars to replace it. What i would recommend is ordering the screen online then go on website that show you how to replace thinkpad screen that would save.
