How to disable Touch pad?

Hi

how can i disable touch pad of my laptop model Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 15 (0301-FDG)
i tried using options available on you tube but it didn't work for this model. Any ideas?

To turn off the mouse pad on a laptop, using Windows 7, you would firs go to Star, and in the search box, type: main.cpl. You will then see the device settings there, and you would just go to the line that has your touchpad. It should be highlighted. It's there that you can disable it.

Denial

Assuming that you are running Windows XP, click on start, control panel, then click on "Printers and Other Hardware." The setting for your touchpad should be in this section. Right click on the touchpad and disable the driver.
