May be the drivers has crashed, so you should reinstall the drivers of your touch pad, If you do not have drivers then you can download from the bellow site…

Maybe you just accidentally turned off the touchpad functionality. Try looking at the function keys if there's one that is used to turn on/off the touchpad.
