Laptops aren't designed to be user-upgradeable (other than drive bays, PCMCIA card slots, and RAM).

The video card, as you call it, is nothing more than the chip and soldered directly to the motherboard. It can't be upgraded, at all. If you want upgradability, buy a desktop.
