How well will will this laptop run Minecraft and Steam games?

Hi, I soon plan to get a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p with the specs below and wanted to know. How well will this laptop run Minecraft and most Steam games like Garry's Mod, Goat Simulator, Team Fortress 2, Portal 2?

I do not want to waste cash on a laptop that doesn't work like expected and not be able to refund it. Also yes I'm aware there are Way better laptops like the Razor Blade Pro. But I'm in need of a laptop that runs everything pretty good like video editing, gaming and more and that doesn't cost over $1,500.

Please note if it can run the games I've listed above as I do play them often and would love to know it will play well.
Any legitimate and well explaining answer is VERY much appreciated.

I had the same graphics card and prozessor in my laptop and I could run bf4 and saints row 3 on medium settings just fine

I have a Windows 8 desktop computer that has a slightly better processor, but besides that, it is very similar. I believe that your computer should be able to run all of those games. I have played all of them on mine. If you plan on upgrading anything you should buy a desktop computer. I actually got my desktop for 600$. Amazing deal. I forgot where I got it. Listen to some other peoples advice before making a decision.
