How will I fix my Lenovo z580 that I spilled water upon?

I know I shouldn't be eating and drinking near my laptop, but I do it anyway, and I apologize. However, I recently spilled water (and I mean water, not cola or anything; just water) on my laptop, and I waited for it to dry off, but I didn't take any parts out because I know nothing about computers. Now, when I turn it on, it seems to work just fine, but some keyboard keys aren't working and the touch-pad is unresponsive. Because I didn't take any parts out, I don't know if the spill affected anything else, so first, I would like to know what else might have been affected, next, I would like to know if it would be expensive to get someone to fix this or if I should just get another laptop, and finally, I would like to know where I could learn about fixing computers in general so when something like this happens again, I will be able to figure something out.

Contact TekDry.com. They fixed my boss' iphone 5 twice after getting wet and I know they've saved laptops and tablets too. Their patented process works in 30 minutes and they only charge if rescued. If you're not near their store they will overnight deliver back and forth.

Whatever you do, don't power it up or charge it until absolutely sure it is dry or you'll short more stuff out and advance corrosion.
