I have installed Sims 2 on my laptop (Lenovo). Everytime I click on a family the game crashes. What can I do?

Sims 2 was made long before windows 8 and it is entirely feasible that sims 2 won't work with windows 8. Contact me if you need more help. Jdbj32m@yaho.com
