Is 128gb for a laptop enough?

I'm in my senior year of High School and I'm gonna be attending college soon so I'm looking to buy a new laptop. I literally don't do anything on my current laptop other than use Microsoft Word/One Drive for homework assignments, go on Youtube and Netflix, and use websites like Google Classroom or Pearson etc. I'm looking at 2-4 laptops like the HP Envy & HP x360 (both 2 in 1's) that are a little bit cheaper but they only have 128gb, where as the Lenovo 730 Yoga 13.3in has 256 gb but is a little more up there in price. What would you recommend?

NO
250 is acceptable
500 is better

128 GB is fine for your purpose. I would have to see the other specs to see which laptop is a better deal, though.

More then enough

Win 10 is a disk memory hog. It can easily use 64 Gb by itself -- depending on version. ["Home" is the smallest version… I've forgotten how big it is on disk, though, I'm thinking about 40 Gb.]

Consider this… Suppose you got one of the smaller memory ones and immediately upgraded to a 256 or 512 SSD. Newegg has a 240 Gb internal [2.5" form factor] SSD on sale for $35 as I write this, and a 480 Gb one for $58.

It will all depend on what operating system you will install or will the laptop come pre-installed with. If the laptop is Windows 10, then you will experience "bloating" over time, especially if you don't know how to take care of the laptop (software wise) using CMD commands, etc. I have a few software, some Microsoft Libraries, other package caches, etc, and all combined with the Windows System file take about 120 GBytes of space, and that's WITH maintaining my laptop, clearing the "garbage", and of course keeping it up-to-date. So, I would suggest at least with 250 GBytes of disk space to be on the safe side.
On a side note, you may not need a dedicated graphics card, since you will be using the laptop for lightweight applications, but I still recommend getting 8 GBytes RAM (DDR4) laptop, because you will need a lot of memory, even with the basic applications you mentioned.

Yes, 128 GB will be plenty for your uses.

It would not really be enough for serious image or video editing, for example if you're taking a photography or graphic design course.

It seems you are planning to buy a lower quality laptop. 128GB, and 256GB are small drives. The 256GB is a larger drive, but it's still small, so you would be able to put more stuff on it than the 128GB drive.

I don't know exactly how you are planning to use the laptop, and apparently you don't know either, so I think you should consider asking a college professor if the laptop brands you are interested in is suitable, for what you need at college.

No its too less

Depends on the type of laptop you have and the quality of it

Yes it is enough
