Is it safe to use laptop continuously on A.C. Adapter supply?

I have a Lenovo G50 laptop. I remove its battery and use it continuously for hours (4-5 hours) on A.C. Adapter supply when I'm home. I have inverter battery backup at home, so my laptop doesn't even restart, nor does it show signs of voltage fluctuation when there's a power cut. But I have heard people of saying that using laptop continuously on A.C. Adapter supply damages motherboard of the laptop and all that… Can someone please confirm this?

That seems most unlikely.

The best reason not to do that is to preserve the battery by keeping it active. If you don't care about it, you should be fine.

No problem except if you are working on something and do not save your work and you have power shortage.

There's no problem with that, it will not harm your motherboard. I run my work laptop all day every day connected to AC.

You have been listening to stupid people. I have a 4 year old laptop that has been run 90% of its life with the battery removed. The laptop runs fine and the battery is good as new.

You are perfectly safe doing what you're doing, there's no harm running it with it staying plugged in.
