Ask yourself a few questions. Do you want touch screen? If you answer yes then there's no option. Apple tends to be stubborn about what they think is the right way. Look at their history. They stayed B&W when everyone else was going color. They stayed with a one button mouse for way too long. They just now saw the trend to larger smartphones and made the iPhone a decent size. They stayed with inferior Motorola processors until they just couldn't compete anymore with the Intels. Do you want to play games? No contest here the PC is much better suited to gaming. Do you need to do a lot of Word processing? Spreadsheets? Again no contest. Any PC will win on that. Do you want to have the best compatibility with the real world? Again no contest. Finally do you want to buck the market and look like a hipster and have people think you made a cool although not practical choice then the macbook is better.
