IS THE GENERIC CHARGER COMPATIBLE WITH MY LAPTOP?
i want to ask if they are compatible so i can use my laptop for now to rush my documents… By the way, i tried to connect them without using the power, and they fit together

just worried about the "power wattage"

Please check these specs match with genaric charger

Compatible Brand: For IBM
Output Current: 2 A
Output Voltage (s): 20 V
Max Output Power: (High W means charging quickly)

Check your old charger and the new for voltage and current, you will have something like 18v and 2.7A if they are about the same then it should be OK. The one to watch is the amps, if the new one is a lot less then it may have a tendency to overheat. Laptops work off batteries which provides a stable supply so the laptop voltage will be controlled by the battery rather then the voltage of the supply.
