Here's the laptop: http://ad-x.co.uk/API/click/eBay76hjgsDP/web751a90dfce96c1?referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fpages.ebay.com%2Flink%2F%3Fnav%3Dhome%26referrer%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F711-58542-18990-20%252F4
Is be using it mainly to record my Xbox gameplay with Elgato game capture. And using two Mics in the usbs all at the same time. Can it handle it?
I also found the same laptop but with a 2.8ghz processor. But the Intel core is only like an I5. Which is better?
Is the Lenovo Y50 a good gaming/editing laptop?
Yer true
The hardware on the Y50 definitely impressive, but apparently the display is pretty bad. The viewing angles aren't great and the colors aren't very good or are inaccurate (mainly RGB). The hardware sported by the Y50 definitely would make it well-suited performance-wise, though, so it should handle it.
As far as that same laptop but with the i5 processor, forget about it. It's never really a good idea to compare clock speeds across processors. It's a relatively safe bet that the i7 will beat the i5 any day, regardless of clock speed, since it's a newer and more efficient model.
I'm not exactly 1000% sure on any of this though, and you won't really know until you try (but I guess in the case of major purchases that's not really helpful). I'd look up more about it or post this question in other places, if you haven't already.
