HP reliability
http://www.rescuecom.com/...-2014.aspx

Specs
A6-5200 with HD 8400 graphics.
2432 passmark score cpu is relatively slow
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/...u_list.php
HD 8400 is fairly low end graphics rank #307 a little below intel HD 4000 rank 293
http://www.notebookcheck.net/...849.0.html
Screen 17.3" 1600 x 900 is mid-level with x768 as low and x1080 as Full HD
4GB DDR3 System Memory (1 Dimm) is OK for general use but benefits from a 2nd matching DIMM, cheaper bought separately and installed yourself. You would need to get the specs with speccy and belarc adviser software for an exact matching 4GB SODIMM $36 to $43 vs HP @ $75
http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/memory/#xcx=0&Z=4096001&V=1250,1350&s=301600&sort=a10&t=9
minimal 500GB HDD
It is a user replaceable 6 cell battery - unspec'ed for power
has dvdrw, low end ethernet as 10/100 instead of better gigabit, battery life spec'ed is phony - ignore it. Has a webcam and mic. 16.5 x 10.5 x 1.29 in 5.99 lb
It is a generic 17.3" with colored case frame.
$495 plus tax; hunt the web for specials.
Lenovo's equivalent is G710 at Lenovo.com at $499
Intel Core i3-4000M CPU (typo as MQ) HD Graphics 4600
2432 >> 3427 41% faster CPU
rank 220 graphics is 41% stronger than the AMD
includes bluetooth ($10 hp option)
cheaper lcd 1366x768
16.45" x 10.94" x 1.44" 6.39 pounds
battery seems similar
Using the Lenovo $600 and bumping up HP specs to match that, HP has to go to Envy to get Intel 17.3"
They are at $780 for a slightly thinner and lighter and a bit better audio

HP offering at the prices don't thrill me.
Newegg has a G700 Lenovo @$400, tax in CA, TN, NJ
http://www.newegg.com/...6834313649
Pentium 2020M and is thicker and heavier by a bit compared to the HP. 20+% lower price
CPU 2309 is -5%. Intel HD Ivy Bridge is lower graphics ranked at 400 and the HD 8400 is 40% higher.
So, gives up graphics performance for a 20% price cut.

Best Buy sells a Toshiba like the HP+Bluetooth for only $350 for the same specifications.
http://www.bestbuy.com/...b=overview
I'm not sure I would spend $505 for a HP label vs Toshiba at $350
HP Coming soon is $430
http://www.bestbuy.com/...&cp=1&lp=4
A8-4500M HD 7640G 750gb hdd like my $400 Samsung I bought in 15.6". It does get hotter with shorter batter life, but is better graphics and CPU
Dell's low voltage i3 is about $500, but battery probably not as good and may be sealed in the system. Maybe, maybe not. Little stronger than the HP you found in CPU, stronger in graphics, other specs look the same.

What you found is basically NOTHING SPECIAL.
Here is a similar HP with $50 rebate
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/..._17_3.html
and a decent Asus at $490
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...black.html

Tired of shopping - you can check Amazon. Besides the pretty colored shell, does anything make the HP a special deal?

Superb man.it is one of the best laptop.
