This stupid computer is not showing any available Internet connections including mine. To make it even more horrible it only worked when I plugged in an enthernet cable. But today It's saying "no Internet connection", when I plugged it in. Then few minutes back to "connected to internet" then "no Internet connection" again.

Yes, Lenovo is cr4p; I have v570; reeks of cheapness;
left mouse button is losing responsiveness out after only 2 yrs heavy use.
My Sony vaio lasted 9 yrs.
your prob might be w/ isp. Call em and they should walk you through a fix.
first try reset button on router/hub.
& disconnect router from power source for a few mins & recon.
read your manual for trouble shooting.

It may not be the "stupid computer" at all it might be that your bad internet habits have caught up to your computer.
Malware, viruses can hinder a lot of your operating systems functions. You may need to reinstall your Windows with the restore disks that came with the PC when it was purchased. If you didn't get restore disks with your laptop then there's most likely a utility that allows you to create restore disks (CDs/DVDs)
Sometimes its not the "stupid computer" that is at fault as you so said, but the "stupid user" who illegally downloads music, movies from rogue web sites!

Sirjester is right. It was likely operator error. Wipe your hard drive and reinstall Windows. Or, better yet, install a secure system like Linux. Fedora 20 is a great OS, I use it every day and haven't booted Windows in months.
