Lenovo G50 windows 8.1 not activated?

Added (2). I bought a new lenovo g50 laptop at

Then I opened my computer-->properties and was shocked to see that the windows 8.1 is not activated.
What am I supposed to do to activate the windows genuinely without spending any money?

If it's a non-genuine copy of Windows 8.1, you will be required to uninstall that OS or revert back to a former one. If it's genuine and it still refuses to activate online with one of our servers, you can contact Microsoft about possible firewall exceptions and validation checks on their end.
