Lenovo laptop won't power on?

I have a lenovo laptop (i'm not sure which type exactly) but it uses windows 10 and it is only about a year old. Recently it fell off my bed which is only around a 2 feet fall. Since then i haven't been able to power it on fully. When i try to, the light on the power button lights up and i can hear the laptop trying to start up, but a few seconds later the laptop powers off. It repeats this and keeps trying to turn on itself until i press down on the button again to turn it off which i find a bit weird. I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in and charging the laptop incase it was dead but neither worked. I'm wondering if the hard drive or something else is damaged and if i should go get it repaired or buy a completely new laptop?

Did you try leaving the battery out and turn your laptop on?
also, you may want to check the hard drive

Was it powered on when it fell? If yes, you may have damaged the hard drive. I'd get it checked out. If the hard drive failed, replace it with a solid state drive (SSD), those won't be damaged as easily.

Rnaybe you should take it to a cornputer store so they can fix it

Check the hard drive, the fall may have caused it to move and it may only need taking out and putting back in again to make it work. However, hard drives are delicate and you may have broken the hard drive. Only a computer repairer would be able to help in that case.

I can beat that!

I took my laptop apart in rage, but before I did this, I salvaged my RAM sticks, and internal hard drive. There was a good reason why I took apart my laptop in rage. I wanted to see something that was on my mother board, so I just didn't have the patience to properly take apart my laptop. I actually learned something because of what I did.

I'm going to buy another one, and I think you should do the same thing.

I suggest putting a laptop on a desk, or on a table. Well anywhere where you can sit down in front of it, and it won't easily fall down.

Heat, cold, liquid, and shock are four issues that can cause problems, for laptops. Your laptop was dropped, and my problem was with heat.
