Sony laptops are around the same price as Macs but nowhere as good. If you are looking at a Sony for sure, check back at a Mac.

To tell you the truth, there's no game at the moment that has a requirement of 12 GBs of RAM. Therefore, from RAM point of view, you are quite covered for a long period of time.
The most significant difference between ASUS ROG G750JM-DS71 and its more expensive versions is the graphic card. This laptop features NVIDIA GTX 860M 2 GB GDDR5 graphic card, which is the weakest among the graphic cards featured in the other two superior models of this series of ROG. However, like I said earlier, that does not mean that this graphic card can't deliver an excellent performance. In fact you should be able to enjoy almost all of the latest games at high graphics while maintaining a decent 50-60 FPS. This graphic card may suffer a little in terms of FPS at ultra settings, but it should be able to handle that as well on some latest games.

The easiest solution is to go to each of those manufactures websites and look for what you want…
obviously if you need 2GB video memory you're going to want a laptop with a dedicated video card such as an Nvidia chip.
Sony has some little overpriced white ones with the vaio fit range etc.
