My laptop shuts off during playing games?

So I bough this Lenovo y50 last weekend and it's runs games great however last night while I was playing csgo it made like weird noise and then shut off completely, it was fully charged and plugged in and everything was working but then it just shut off on me twice and after second I stopped playing it.

What is the laptop sitting on when this happens? Is it on a hard flat surface that allows airflow? Your symptoms sound like overheating, and that's usually caused by kids playing games on a laptop on their bed, and the blankets blocks the vents.

1. Try playing games at medium settings. This will put less strain on graphics card inside laptop
2. Make sure there's enough space for airflow from air dents on sides of your laptop
3. Disable background programs (such as anti-virus or anti-spyware programs) and programs that constantly check for updates to new version & notify you, when playing games
4. Go to Microsoft Windows Update website and download critical / recommended updates for Windows
5. Find out which dedicated graphics card (ATI Radeon or nVidia GeForce) is installed on your laptop. Use Speccy -https://www.piriform.com/speccy to determine (if you're not sure), then go driver update website and download latest available drivers. Install them and restart your laptop once
6. Consider using laptop cooler, like
