To clarify i'm running Windows 8.1
before it freezes there's no sign of lag.
1) When i was playing the first Five Nights At Freddy's in between night 3 and night 4 it froze
2) While i was restarting the laptop it froze or rather started lagging like crazy
3) When i was plugging in my laptop into a power source it froze again
What should i do. In the 2 days i have had it has frozen at least the 3 times. I really don't want to get it changed with the warranty cuz it would be a pain.
Delete applications and files you don't nee. Or better yet, reformat your laptop. It probably because your systems memory is full so it's no lagging before freezing.
Check your drivers. The video driver may need updating.
Check what is starting up automatically. Most computers have dozens of apps opening automatically. They'll kill your machine. Turn off anything you don't need.
Check to make sure windows is up to day. Install all essential updates.
Run a scan for malware. It's the single biggest reason for freezes. Get malwarebytes, free version, do a full scan. Remove what it recommends.
Check to see how much RAM you have. If you don't have enough, it'll cause the system to choke.
