What is the best custom laptop you can build for around $1500?

So you have $1500 to spend to customize your own laptop, where do you buy from and what would your specs be? Go crazy and show me what you personally would build!

I'd buy a 13in Macbook pro non-retina because it's upgradable unlike the retina and so I wouldn't have to deal with Windows 8. If you don't want a Mac or work wouldn't allow it i'd consider the Lenovo Y510p. It's the best bang for your buck laptop out there right now.
