I want to build a custom desktop PC?

I have 2 laptops and 1 very old desktop.(XP old) I want to make it into a decent gaming computer. Can someone find a vid or make one to help I want to upgrade my graphics card, my Processer and anything else that will make it run as fast and smooth as possible. I currently have a Windows 7 home premium toshiba Satellite L755-S5141. I also have a lenovo thinkpad. I don't know what type it is. My desktop is something.(ill update l8r what the thinkpad is and desktop.) I also wann keep the hdmi… Output? Also I'm working on a very tight budget so all the stuff needs to be under $200 total. I don't want windows 8. Just don't like it.

Added (1). Lenovo® ThinkPad® Edge (0578-A25) Laptop Computer With 14" LED-Backlit Screen & Intel® Core™ i3-350M Processor is the thinkpad

Added (2). and the desk top is a dell dimension 3000.
Also the only reason i'm listing these laptops/ a desktop is because maybe I can use the parts from others like the fan or the power supply and case with the desktop and the vid cards with others. Also i need to know how to wipe a hard drive so I can get all viruses off of the one i wanna use. Then how to install windows to the wiped hard drive.

For $200 you won't find a decent gaming computer. Won't won't find anything close

Dell Dimension 3000 is Pentium 4 based and as such, is completely useless scrap.
The computer case and power supply were never any good. The RAM is outdated, motherboard does not accept any cpu of the last few years even, HDD is small amount of storage and probably soon to fail. There are no parts worth using.

The only part of a laptop usable in a desktop/tower is the HDD, and that is inferior to the 7200rpm desktop ones, but could save you $40 to $50. You could sell a laptop for most than its usable parts.

Windows costs about $90.

Use your laptop(s) until you have about $500 to build a pc.
Plenty of help around at that level.
And, classicshell.net fixes windows 8.
