Now, if just talking in general brands, since Dell bought Alienware years ago, its quality seems to have degraded for cost cutting, and a comparable priced Asus beats Alienware.

You can take a new Lenovo Y50, and change its weak LCD to an IPS 1080p panel for about $100 and beat standard Alienware. Maybe a sleek thin and light gamer system is better than the bricks Dell sells as Alienware, so Razer would beat Alienware.

Comparing two items must be at the same price point. To compare something that costs more than something else is an unfair comparison.
