I'm looking for a new laptop around the prices range of 500 - 1000 bucks.
Also i was thinking of getting a lenovo 40 series, is it good by any chance?

Get any HP. They're awesome, and last a long time.
You need to post the exact laptop and specs for us to help you because some of them come with lower rated processors like the i3 up to the i7. I would also look for the storage medium (does it have an HDD or an SSD) and how much there's noting we can do for now
