I have a Lenovo Thinkpad which I installed windows 8.1 onto. I recently had to refresh it and now it only has 1024x768 and won't even let me choose any other setting, which it did before.
Why can't I adjust my resolution?

Re install the latest video drivers and reboot.

HAL9000 is right. You have a new OS, you need updated drivers to match it. Check Lenovo website first.
