Why can't I use my headphones with my laptop? - 1

Added (1). I have a Lenovo Yoga 2 and I currently am experiencing audio trouble when I plug in my headphones. Audio will play through the speakers but not through the Apple headphones that I use when plugged into the AUX port. I'm pretty tech savvy and I've checked the mixer and done the classic "blow as hard as you can into the audio opening" move. Any advice is appreciated.

Make sure the audio device is enabled and set as default. Also, RealTek Audio Manager is pretty good for stuff like this.

AUX port? You should be plugging it into the green 3.5mm port. If it still doesn't work then you might have to go into the Audio settings and set your headphones as your default audio device.
