The laptop is a Lenovo G50 with windows 8.1, 8 GB RAM, 1TB HDD and intel core i3 CPU along with other specs.
The problem isn't the internet connection because there are 3 other laptops in the house and videos can play smoothly on them.
I would like to know what the problem is?
It can be the Internet connection, they have different network interfaces, at different locations and possibly using different wires! Quality of a Wi-fi signal does vary by location.
Are you trying the same video, at the same quality, at a simular time of day from the same server? Or is the video on the laptop's HDD?
Is the laptop fast enough to play the video in question?
I have tried different videos at different times of the day from different sites but it loads a little then stops.
What exactly decides if the laptop is fast enough to play the videos?
