If I will put a GPU adapter with a desktop Graphics card on my Laptop which runs Intel HD 4000, can I replace the CPU or not?

I have a Lenovo G400 Intel HD 4000 with 2GB of RAM (I'm planning to replace it with 4GB) I'm just wondering if I can change the CPU if I will put a GPU adapter. If I it is possible I will build a brief case with LCD in it, which is basically a portable Desktop because there's a GPU, but for real it is a laptop with GPU adapter.

it looks something like this (GPU Adapter)

When you can likely build a better system for under 300$, maybe under 200. This seems like a bad idea, you are likely stuck with that cpu

That device is used for an external video card… You still need to buy a computer power supply and a video card… You also need to get into your laptop so you can plug the device in…

As for replacing the CPU? No… That is not going to happen…
