My computer is a Lenovo Ideapad Y400, i7 model. Recently, I purchased the second GPU add-on, which greatly improved game performance for all of my games… EXCEPT for Battlefield 4. For some reason, even on Medium settings i'm averaging 22-28 FPS, which is a minimal gain from the single card. What gives?

There's more to over all performance than just the video card. What you are seeing suggests that in the case of BF4 it's not the video card that is the bottleneck in the system.
