I had a lenovo laptop that I used to get on xbox live through a bridged connection with an ethernet cable. Recently I got a new notebook. It's the lenovo flex ideapad 15. It uses Windows 8.1 It has an ethernet slot, but when I bridge the network connections, my internet goes down all over the house and I can't connect on anything. Can someone walk me through this?
Can I bridge network connections using a notebook?

I just looked at network bridge connection you need two networks for this.
you need xbox live account then you should find the program through your xbox to connect to the internet

Bridged connections work only wire-to-wire, wireless-to-wireless.
