I bought a lenovo thinkpad t410. I wanted to be able to play small games like minecraft, garry's mod, counter strike, etc. But csgo requires a higher processor. I currently have Intel Core i5 560M @ 2.67GHz. I would like to upgrade to the
Intel Core i5-6500 Skylake Processor 3.6GHz 8.0GT/s 6MB LGA 1151 CPU. I have attached a picture with everything about my laptop. (motherboard, ram, etc.) so if anybody can let me know if i can make the upgrade i would really appreciate it.
Can my laptop handle this new processor?
Pedro
Not possible.
And anyway, if you can't run CS: GO, the problem is probably your video interface hardware.

Laptop processors can't be upgraded, sorry. The processors are soldered right into their motherboards, and can't be removed without wrecking the motherboard.
Also for games, you need a good GPU, either from AMD or Nvidia. You also can't install an aftermarket GPU in a laptop either. Laptops are designed to be thrown away and can't be upgraded very much, unlike desktop PC's, where you have an infinite possibility of upgrading it, mostly.
