Those other browsers seem to slow down our machines a little, for us, Opera works fastest. We use a 7 year old Lenovo laptop, a 4 year old Acer netbook and a 1 year old MSI netbook. And on all, Opera works fastest?
Does anyone else find that Opera is faster on their machine than say Chrome, Mozilla or IE?

Yeah, I loved Opera for a good amount of time. It's simply not on my computers anymore cuz of Waterfox, a 64 bit Firefox, so basically it's just crazy fast. That was the only real reason I used Opera however, so now I have Waterfox as my primary browser and Chrome for backup because of the Chrome App Launcher and stuff that comes with Chrome. But yes, I find that Opera is faster than Chrome about 99% of the time for me.

I only ever used Chome, IE and the piece of trash called "safari"
And from my experience Chrome is MUCH faster then IE.
But I can't debate if it faster then the other ones. But Chrome makes me happy. I'll try the other ones some day.
But Safari is a piece of trash that should burn in a fire and erased from any documents and forgotten forever. It's terrible.
IE gets my respect because they were one of the first and at the time the best. Someone had to take the crown at some point… Which is obviously not safari.
