I'm using a Lenovo ideapad and i want to do the system restore, but every time it restarts after i choose to restore it, it says that the system restore did not work because my drive is corrupted or something of that nature. I tried restoring it using safe mode and that did not work at all. I have a recovery program from geeksquad in this flash drive they gave me; i put it in my laptop but it doesn't do anything except show the files, so i restarted my laptop seeing if it would detect the program then, but it just started up normally.
How to do a system restore if my drive is corrupted?

Have you tried running checkdisk? Then doing the restore afterwards. Sometimes Checkdisk can repair corrupt files and sectors, depends how bad the damage is. You can google how to run chkdsk. To find out how. If that doesn't work then you will just have to cut your losses and Reformat. Delete the partition and completely reinstall Windows.
