Is Apple Macbooks considered the best laptop?

What the hell? I'm currently looking for a laptop for my academics and well, I'm having trouble… Main problem is I'm very picky when it comes to shopping and it can compromise my experience. I looked at all of the reviews of certain laptops that caught my attention and there's that negative flaw with the device that puts a wedge of my interest. Significantly, most reviews always compare the laptop to an Apple laptop! Of course, I should get myself an Apple laptop since it is always commended right? Well no! I just don't want anything Apple related, I find their products and their business practices very problematic and abhorrent. I refused to deal with that ****! Anyway, as my original question states, Is Apple known for creating "great" laptops?

Anyway, as my original question states, Is Apple known for creating "great" laptops? It depends on what you use it for. Apple products have a premium price attached to them for the Apple name on it which I dislike since they are using the same hardware as all the other laptops out there. There's nothing special about an Apple laptop that Dell, Lenovo or HP and ASUS or Gigabyte can't produce for half the price. And like it or not, there are far more programs available for Windows based systems than Mac's. So unless you need a Mac for a specific application you must run, I would go with a regular PC laptop with Windows. Bdf Any laptop is a great laptop when it's not using Windows as it's operating system. Apple makes very nice laptops, they are just very expensive and what what you see is what you get. With other laptop brands if you spent as much money on that as you would on apple, you get a much better one. Also you non apple laptops you can change much more about them. It's all personal preference.
Personally I dislike they way they generally have poor cooling (or cooling that gets clogged easy) and how difficult they are to open and repair. And I hate using the OS.

Also it seems as a general rule Apple users are dislike change the most, because they are used to the Mac OS which has stayed much more constant over the years. That could be one reason for the negative reviews.

I wouldn't get one, as I'm more interested in processing power and repair-ability. Do you need a USB port? If so, don't get an Apple device.
