I have the most recent Lenovo Yoga, and a Pavilion dv6. I bought a couple of games on the Steam sale, but neither of these laptops are good enough to run games like Dragon Age, Far Cry 3, or Witcher 2. Is it possible to upgrade my laptops?
Laptop not fast enough to play games? Possible to upgrade? - 1

Probably not enough to play these kinds of games. Laptops are so proprietary and difficult to work with, you can normally only buy parts from the manufacturer. And they usually charge insane prices.
While you can normally upgrade some parts (such as the RAM and hard drive), your other major bits that help you play games aren't worth the price of an upgrade, IF they're available.
Best to save up and buy a gaming computer.

For Gaming a desktop would be preferable.
There were gaming laptops but they cost way too much.
You can easily get a assembled PC with half of its price enough for high end games.
Branded PCs too cost a bit more.
But choice is yours.
