I have the most recent Lenovo Yoga, and a Pavilion dv6. I bought a couple of games on the Steam sale, but neither of these laptops are good enough to run games like Dragon Age, Far Cry 3, or Witcher 2. Is it possible to upgrade my laptops?

No, it is generally not possible to upgrade laptops. Attempts to do so will void your warranty, and likely will not work. There are rare cases when you find a part that is both compatible with your setup and will fit inside your laptop comfortably, but it's never a for-sure thing, and without some technical know-how you're more likely to damage/break your laptop than improve it.
