My Internet connection keeps dropping every 10 or so minutes, windows 8 laptop?

Doesn't always happen every 10 minutes. Sometimes it will not happen for hours, and then other times it will happen consistently. However, it still says I'm connected to the (wireless) internet? Everyone else in the house is fine, it's just me. Some other times it will say "Limited" connection. I'm using a Lenovo laptop and using BT. This has been going for about a week, maybe more. And I've tried everything.

Either interference or simply a faulty router!

When that happen to me it is always ISP that is doing some upgrades. I would check your ISP forum website to see if other users experience same problem and if they do there's nothing you can do but wait.

You may be getting interference from neighbouring wireless signals.
1)Change the broadcast channel on the router to channel 11 or 2 steps higher or lower than the current. You can download netstumbler or inssider (google them) and they will display the broadcast channels of any neighbouring Wi-Fi networks

2)Turn off any baby alarms cordless phones wireless doorbells as these use the same 2.4Ghz frequency

3)Update the firmware of the router and drivers for your PC/laptop
